Northern Underwater Systems is Canadian Dewatering’s diving and marine contracting division.  With a history in western Canada and the Arctic stretching back more than 50 years, Northern Underwater Systems maintains the largest staff of full-time commercial dive professionals in the region.

Canada’s pioneering Arctic diving specialists, Northern Underwater systems provides all-season construction, salvage, repair, inspection, and cleaning services in ocean and inland waters, as well as settling ponds and tanks. Among the diving division’s customers are pipelines, drill rigs, port operators, power plants, refineries, chemical plants, and municipal facilities. 

Northern Underwater Systems’ strength is its people; committed professional divers with up to 30 years of experience, supported by diving supervisors, safety specialists, marine specialists, and project managers.

From a small Alberta-based operation in 1979, Northern Underwater Systems a division of Canadian Dewatering now operates across western Canada, with experienced managers in Edmonton, Surrey, Calgary, Castlegar, and Fort McMurray.
